Cardiopulmonary
Pulaski Memorial Hospital's Cardiopulmonary Department provides a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services for both inpatient and outpatient referrals.
Patients with chronic lung problems such as bronchitis, emphysema, and asthma, as well as patients with pneumonia, shortness of breath, chest pain, lung cancer,
congestive heart failure, cystic fibrosis, insomnia, snoring and sleep apnea are all among those served by the Cardiopulmonary Department.
The Cardiopulmonary Department is open 7 days a week, 365 days a year and is located near the front of the hospital next to Rehab Services.
It is staffed by highly trained and skilled therapists who are all licensed for the state of Indiana. Respiratory therapists at Pulaski Memorial Hospital are required to continue
their education through yearly competencies, seminars, and in-services and are BLS/PALS certified.

Pulmonary Rehabilitation
Pulmonary Rehabilitation is defined as a physician supervised program for people with COPD and certain other chronic respiratory diseases that is designed to
optimize physical and social performance and autonomy.
At Pulaski Memorial Hospital's Pulmonary Rehab Program, each patient will receive an individualized plan of care that is designed to incorporate both education and
exercise in order to gain strength and endurance. A referral by your physician is required.
